Early Maladaptive Schemas, Sexual Self-esteem, and Anxiety in Women with Orgasmic Disorders

Background: Individual factors that can lead to psychological disorders, including early maladaptive schemas, sexual self-esteem, and anxiety, their impact on the female orgasmic disorder (FOD), has not yet been thoroughly examined. Objectives: The purpose of this study was compare these in women with FOD those without condition. Methods: This descriptive research causal-comparative or ex post facto study, statistical population two groups married aged 18 40 years. Out 152 who participated, 66 cases had FOD, 86 no according cut-off scores Female Sexual Function Index questionnaire based DSM5 criteria. Young Early Maladaptive Schema (YEMSQ) (1995), Zeanah Schwarz’s Self-esteem Inventory for Women (SSEI-W) (1996), Beck Anxiety inventory (BAI) (1988) were filled out by all participants. An independent t-test at a significance level P < 0.05 applied analyze data using SPSS 24.
